today on Reasons Linux Isn't Mainstream Yet: Most of Rhythmbox's (and apparently Gedit's) built-in plugins are broken because an upstream library called libpeas intentionally broke compatibility with Python 3, which those plugins rely on. Installing the Flatpak version fixes this
