I take photos of the sky when cool shit happens.

This is comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan -Atlas photographed by me on 2024.10.13 at about 8pm
Comet C2023/A3 shines against a gradient sky, orange light rising with the tail of the comet, fading to the blue-black of night. A few faint stars are starting to appear. The nucleus of the comet is brightest, a ball that looks slightly larger than the background stars. The tail sweeps upward, gradually fanning out as it fades to nothing. Below the nucleus, barley perceived is an anti-tail pointing towards the sun below the horizon.
