Disabled, AuDHD. Trying to get by in life. (mostly he/him)
Just a ghost of the person I could have been.
This headline is waaaay too plausible. I had to look at the source before I stopped thinking, "What nonsense are people paying for now?"

😞
I've been there before and will be again. I'm sorry it's happening to you right now.

Oh, ouch, shingles is painful, but when a family member had it a few months ago, the doctor didn't have her stay away from anyone.

It can transmit before symptoms show, so if someone has had a known exposure, you should consider them infectious until enough time has passed.

Drawers are still an issue for me, but I removed the cabinet doors in my house. It forces me to keep them tidier, I don't loose things "out of sight", and I can't leave one open to smack my shin or forehead into.

The only things insurance will cover now are pain management and extreme surgical options. Ongoing PT is now out of pocket, so I don't go nearly as often as I need.

I will need to check that out! I had already hit my "lifetime maximum benefit" from my insurance coverage for PT before my shoulder became a problem.

They called me "the dolphin" at the pool when I was 7. I still love to swim, but rarely get to opportunity.

Their primary target currently is trans people. The next group is autistics. But I guarantee they have no intention of stopping there.

You cannot afford to let them build momentum.

Our trans friends cannot afford to even let them start.

I wrote a term paper a couple decades ago about the loss of the adverb from standard usage. It has only gotten worse.

Something I learned that others never seemed to grasp is the difference between knowing the rules and understanding them. Here, it applies to grammar, but it also applies elsewhere. The choice to intentionally "break" rules when appropriate is an important life skill.
And doubly important for art.
