FOSS enthusiast, software developer, tell me about cool technology things.
The Warrington bus interchange seems to use Linux for their displays (which sounds like an obvious decision, but you see tons of public displays with windows messages on them nonetheless). Cool

Interesting. I've always used the Firefox Flatpak, so never knew that the native OpenSUSE Firefox package sets "OpenSUSE Search" as the start page. It actually sends the search straight to the engine you choose, so no privacy issues, and helps find distro resources. Odd, but cool search.opensuse.org

For the first time, after switching the nozzle on my 3D printer, I finally accidentally ran it into the bed during a test print

Here's a better example now that I can show you. All I did was CTRL+S the scene, but I didn't actually change anything. A bunch of objects shift around by tiny fractions of a unit, as if there's some floating point awkwardness going on here. It makes resolving merge conflicts very awkward.

Using the below MR, I can use Godot to make OpenXR overlays for my new runtime of choice, Monado. Here's a random 3D test scene running above xrgears.

Who knew the funny advanced calculator modes actually had a use? (I know I'm doing a silly calculation there, I was just struggling remember how to write things, since I need to do some bitwise stuff)

Linux stuff is just so good. I'm currently in a rare situation where I'd like to use bluetooth audio on my laptop, and I've just got plain, simple options for all of the codecs my earphones support, plus a live readout of the bandwidth being used. (software here is "blueman")

Trying to build a monitor-mounted USB hub with #FreeCAD. As I'm still having speed issues with Orca, Cura is still my preferred slicer, and I had no idea that it also supported printing multiple objects one after another.
