You've seen all the boring parts of Saturnine painted up, but have you seen anyone go to town on the sexiest sprue in the box?
I have my first Heresy 3.0 game today and wanted us to be ready for all the statuses flying around. So excited!

Trans people weren't consulted, and apparently geneticists weren't either. Your genes do not determine who you are. There are a thousand ways a gene you have isn't expressed, or if it is then its product doesn't work. Biology is stunningly complex. You can't boil it down to XY=♂️ and XX=♀️. Shocking.

Could be, yeah. If so then he's been rattling around the underhive for a loooong time.
The armour does seem to be a call back to the original plastic Scouts though. The little shoulder pad is what tips me over. Plus the weapon loadout. I'm really stoked to pick up the Book of Ruin now!

Some alternative angles.
I spent a disproportionately long time building the base for my Golden Demon entry. Still #wip but getting there. Pleased with is so far. Now for the final push to AdeptiCon!

Step 10: Take a sip of your beverage of choice (I alternated between water, Coke Zero, and bourbon, depending on time of day), then grab the next piece! Each one should take 10-15 minutes max, depending on the size. You can knock out a whole table by yourself in one day!

Step 8: Airbrush ProAcryl Transparent Brown around the bottom edge of the model (mud/dust from the ground), along the joins between the walls and floors, and in in about a 1/2 inch band around where the concrete has been broken (scorching). Also hit any exposed rebar (rust).

Step 7: Drybrush the floor segments with a highly contrasting colour. We used ProAcryl Grey Blue. It might look a bit unnatural, but we're going for contrast at three feet here. Be careful here, but don't worry about mistakes, we can cover them later!

Step 6: Paint some details. We plan ahead here and avoid any that can/will be covered up in later steps (like the scorching). We used ProAcryl Jade and Bronze. Pick whatever pops against your base colours. We use a normal brush for this. Bronze first, then Jade (which has great coverage!).
