further to this, Alastor's ears begin the scene up, and only relax down *when Vox leans in towards him*
They remain relaxed as Vox touches his shoulder and don't even flick. Alastor laughs at his impression and is charmed.
His ears only go back up when Vox asks him to hear him out.

I think a lot of this is up for interpretation, tbh! for my part this is when Alastor and Vox have a relatively good relationship (like he's giggling at Vox's impressions) so these brief touches from Vox are tolerated. he doesn't initiate and Vox keeps them brief (he IS trying to do it more tho)
