Polygon was easily my favorite outlet for media coverage - I probably check the site four times a day habitually.

I am just “some guy” but my heart goes out to everyone at both outlets who are being abandoned by corporate overlords.

I’ve been chasing this dragon too. I ran Ethernet from one corner, up two floors to the attic, across the house and down into the corner near my Shield.

Most of my complaints at this point are with the Shield as a client- Bluetooth controllers don’t always map correctly, but streaming perf is solid

I would’ve loved for them to just put out their usual formula but with a much more straightforward system around the existing multiplayer mechanics. I agree that it’s a bummer that this is the direction they’re taking their multiplayer focus
