Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is ousting all members of a key CDC vaccination advisory committee and replacing them with his own picks.

The move appears to contradict a pledge he made during his confirmation process.
RFK Jr. ousts all members of CDC vaccine advisory panel
Kennedy said the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, a group of experts who recommend vaccines, has been "plagued with persistent conflicts of interest."

I didn't vote in 2020 because I had a newborn at home and my husband had to work. Now, he was able to go vote that day; I sure wish he could have voted or me.

So Mike Johnson's complaining that women has to vote in-person is not going to work for a lot of SAHMs.

Christianity does not demand that anyone be far right or left. It does demand, however, that we love God and others.

If your political affiliation ever tells you to deny someone mercy - and you are currently defending Trump, not Bishop Budde - you've missed one of the key tenets of Christianity.

A lot of people I know are up in arms about Biden's pardon for his son. I don't see it as somethin weak, necessarily. What are the positives coming out of Biden's pardon for Hunter?

BlueSky is filling a void that 35+ up been looking for. Social media should be a cool distraction. Not stressful and annoying. Folks wanna laugh and have healthy banter and wit and sarcasm. A feeling of community. Not all these bots and ads and weird ass algorithms and engagement farming

I did once own a Twitter account; however, I only hopped on it - like - once every few months.

Hopping on BlueSky, thanks to podcaster @halsparks.com , is helping me see what Twitter was once really all about. However, here on BlueSky, I feel a lot more comfortable saying what I think out loud.

I live near a blue dot in a perpetually red state. Recently began voting blue, so I feel like I'm recovering from something BAD. It's been rough. I'm in a family of five, but be aware - two of our family members are kitties!

Won't be surprised if my husband joins me on here.
