My daughter has been living in the UK since the month before Covid hit. I've been able to visit her a few times, but it's getting harder to travel. She's able to come see me but I told her to be sure to never step foot in this country again. I really miss her.

I sat on Amazon, trying to find Black-owned businesses and found out just how hard it is to find them. Sure, they've got a little symbol once you get to the item page; but when I tried to search under the "Black owned" heading, it didn't search only those businesses. Really annoying.

I've noticed a lot of people throwing it around & realized *some* people will be ready to twist the word so that those saying it can be classified "woke." But as someone who survived many years of abuse, I guarantee that's what is going on. For some of us, it's very traumatizing.

How many times did they argue when we said he and his people are racist? They got so mad when we said he means "ALL," not only "legal." We told them all of it and got yelled at. They have this coming.

I've been calling them incompetent for a long time. I think we need to invent a new word for how significant their stupidity is, crossed with the overwhelming incompetence. Maybe some self-importance thrown in.

Because applauding for the guy who says he doesn't care about you isn't embarrassing? Cheering when he says he'll "fix it" so you never have to vote again? Buying into the lie about lowering prices and still puckering up when it's not done...proud of that, are you?

This is about the time I remind them that the whole "don't take the Lord's name in vain" thing means precisely this. Don't be dumb and hateful and say you're doing it for God. Don't say "God sent me here." I get angry when they pull this shit...and I'm not even a Christian!

To be fair, though, we had no intention of being friends with the USSR after WW2. That was much more a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." In this case, we're talking about people who willfully ignored facts, and didn't choose awareness. If they don't know how to reason, why work w/them?

Thank you! I don't know why my words have been falling on deaf ears. People complained they didn't like Biden's handling of Israel so they wouldn't support Kamala. I ask, "You know she's a whole other person, right?" Then I explain the US has been doing this for decades. NOW they're mad?
