Hey, I heard bluesky was open to the general public and I want a place to post my cosplay so...
I finally caved and started reading the apothecary diaries light novels. I have hundreds of books in my tbr and I continue to hyperfixate on this one series.

Finally watched the Lord of the rings trilogy last month and
I get it. I get why people like it, why it's still talked about. Want to tackle the books when I find time. My sister and I are planning to watch the Hobbit movies once we find the dvds out in the wild.

Are these harsh winds down in South Tx a new thing or have I never noticed them being this strong? Got to wondering since I've been seeing tt of people making memes about it

I've only read two books in 2025 so far
Carmilla and The Haar
both good. Carmilla was a reread and I listened to it on audiobook. The Haar has been in tbr hell and I'm upset it took me this long to pick it up. Gruesome, fun, made me tear up in ~200 pages

I've only read two books in 2025 so far
Carmilla and The Haar
both good. Carmilla was a reread and I listened to it on audiobook. The Haar has been in tbr hell and I'm upset it took me this long to pick it up. Gruesome, fun, made me tear up in ~200 pages

I loved using it to expand on characters I want to write about, but I also haven't been reading which I feel helped motivate me.
I just don't think it's gonna be something I'll be checking in on daily except to save some lore heavy chars from ppl I follow

One of the books I've been looking forward to comes out this Tuesday. I've preordered a handful of books this year (one of them being the junji ito memoir) but I haven't been waiting-waiting like with this book

I see so many works using the flowers of evil as an Easter egg type thing, but I've never heard anyone talk about the actual works.
