Good thing these are in lower orbit, where stuff only takes around 5 years to naturally deorbit if they don’t actively try to maintain altitude.

6 Ghz doesn’t propagate very well through mass, if you control whats in your studio you shouldn’t have an issue. Whats cool about this is the massive amount of bandwidth made available for near field communication; think wireless USB.

Durability is likely to be less than lithium phosphate but if they are 20% cheaper and cleaner to manufacture that may be a wash.

By making it more expensive, we have plenty of rare earths in the US for domestic production; it’s just much more expensive to extract here than in china.
