I was the lone dissenter on both claims. I found the statements as formulated extraordinarily biased and I am disappointed that my fellow 'wellbeing experts' don't seem to notice all the value judgments in these statements and the evidence supposedly supporting them.

I would enjoy the rest of the figure more if it were vacuous.

You are also posting an attitude of self-inferiority which is equally implausible.

That’s the level I was trying to contribute on because I don’t see the broad phenomenon in the same way.

But there is a big generalization from a policy to a broad attitude. That’s what I’m questioning.

Putting aside the policy in your original post and speaking more generally, it’s possible that the center left is more self critical, doesn’t accept that people at universities are less legitimate than others but also don’t like the insularity and excesses.

A lot depends on how you curate your feed — none of these toxic accounts are in my following feed.

And I don’t think it is effectively better here.
