I'm completely baffled at law enforcement's decision to let him be photographed like this. It looks like the trailer of a film where a wrongly convicted ex-CIA badass breaks out of jail to enact vengeance on his corrupt former colleagues. (I know I'm spreading it too but I'm a smol bean account.)

The problem is I have a lot of trouble not responding trollishly to these people, but there is a level of doggedness there that is worrisome given how sloppy they are. One of them is going to show up at a residence that isn't mine, or send an angry email to a different "Katie Herzog." It's a crusade

All right I have a piece coming on The Meltdown. In my defense, I turned the outlet down when they first approached me -- wanted to move on. But this morning some profoundly messed-up new shit came out about Bluesky's moderation efforts and it should all be public. I think it'll be up tonight.
