I met my maternal gma’s niece this weekend for the first time. She was prob 80-smth years old. She lived on a small corner of land not far from where my grandparents lived, beside her childhood home and in a tiny mobile unit. Stray cats and a dog named Chiquito lived there, too.

I was surprised at how muted Boss' reaction to me coming home was until I went to the bathroom and saw a pile of puke, and it all made sense. I see mister Boss has still not mastered pacing himself at eating his food and gave himself a tummy ache, lol...

Returning home now from my weekend with my aunt! It was a nice time, I got to meet two family members for the first time and learn more about my family tree. Will post about it later when I can use my laptop and organize my thoughts properly. Plus, typing on my phone hurts. 😭

I’m embarrassed to say that despite how much I love Boss, I’m part of the large majority of cat owners who don’t brush their cats’ teeth. My previous cats all had great oral health sans brushing, and Boss has as well until recently. So I’ve decided to change. 💪

Horses, as promised. I rode the mother, Daisy, and my dad rode her son, Buttons. Daisy was the shortest horse but still when we trotted and galloped I realized with a bit of horror I was too short for *her*, and couldn’t stand/sit properly. Was clenching my ass+thighs so hard not to fall off. 💀
