I'm so anxious about this. Telling myself there's no actual health hazards, I made a bit of headway with the mess, and the place I really need cleaned, the bathroom, is very very tidy.
And if I'm too awkward I never have to see this person again I guess.

I've made a bit of progress with the tidying but I think I've reached a point of burnout where even the ADHD panic mode won't set in. I guess I have a few hours in the morning.

It's entirely too much meeting. The formal agenda only goes until 8 but we were already 11 minutes late by 21 minutes in, so it's going to be a long morning.

Just yesterday my mum told me that once dad retires in a month there's "no way I'll be letting him sleep in until 9 every day" and that he can't "undo 60 years of getting up and having a purpose". Yikes.

I literally got a PhD in a subject that I expressed interest in as a 4 year old and stuck with because adults praised me for it for 25 years and now I don't know if it's what I want to do with my life. I feel like that's trying pretty hard.

Right? Both my parents need therapy. Dad I think would benefit from medication. But after 60 years, 30 of them together, how much do they want to change things?

Oof. Dad and I have very similar atoms/behaviours, but I do all mine behind a closed door because masking, and all of his used to annoy me So Much until I realised I did the exact same, but he's a man born in the 60s so he's not expected to have the same social graces as me.

Mum told me I couldn't possibly, just that I procrastinated everything, I'm just late for everything and too lazy to do a bunch of tasks.
