I really enjoyed everything in the Ruth Asawa retrospective, but this piece was particularly affecting for me.
Hanging woven wire sculpture by Ruth Asawa. The sculpture consists of three parts, each of which is an extended object made of woven wire with openings along their lengths.

We are heading to NYC in a couple of weeks just to see the Ruth Asawa show at MoMA.

So excited, we already bought the book at the MFA, after seeing the amazing work of Rachel Ruysch and Martin Puryear.

I took this one four years ago and I still think the rabbit's expression is one of my favorite "portrait faces" ever. I think this would look good as an oil painting.
An Eastern Cottontail Rabbit sits amongst grass. The rabbit is in profile, head turned slightly to look towards the camera. The whole image is lit warmly by the later afternoon sun.
