With skyrocketing tech prices and game companies trying to slip GenAI into everything, I’m super glad I have enough old systems and games to last me probably the rest of my natural life without having to buy anything new.

I finally caught up to where I should be word count wise for (Un)NaNoWriMo. I’m feeling better to hit the goal now, even though it’s just for myself this year.

I was never a fan of the Metroid Prime games anyway, but adding an annoying sidekick that never shuts up to a game series that is normally full of quiet and lonely exploration is… a choice.

50k words is always harder to fit a whole story into than I think, lol. I keep stretching the story which is why I rarely finish a (Un)NaNoWriMo story in the month even though I hit the word count, lol.

UnNaNoWriMo is going well so far. Pretty much like every other year, only this year I don’t get a cool T-shirt to mark the occasion.

Sentai got me again with some of their super cheap anime. Did I need Killing Bites? No. But for $8.99, it’s worth a shot. Probably cheaper to buy it than rent/stream it!

Oof, the new subtitle program @crunchyroll.com is using kind of sucks hard. No overlay-translations on things like notes or signs, the font sucks, and it seems like a very lightly spruced up AI barebones translation.
Of course that’s for shows that have English subtitles at all - many are missing.

I only have time for like, 6-8 anime a season now that I have to work in office. It’s gonna be rough culling the new batch. :(

Listen, big anime tiddies are great, but a show needs some balance. Not every main female protagonist in a show should have ginormous breasts.

I don’t think I’m playing #HellisUs as the devs intended, but I am having a good time doing things the way I do, lol.
I am so glad they added an easy mode so I can play through it with only minor frustration at my lack of combat skills😝

Hell is Us gets a nod of respect. After what would normally be considered an emotional moment, the main character is just like “yep”.
So I’m like “dang, that’s some bad writing there”… only for the next scene to reveal he’s a sociopath that doesn’t really feel emotions, lol.

New Fire Emblem is intriguing. Not a huge fan of most of the character designs they showed off, but side characters can redeem that.

It’s not my normal preferred game type, but I might actually buy this and see where it goes.
