I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Lina. Lina was forced to flee South at the beginning of the war with her sons Hasan, 10 and Mahmoud, 4, leaving her husband. She found out she was pregnant with Liza she gave birth alone and when she returned her home was destroyed.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Shereen. Shereen and her husband (a house painter) fled their home early in the war thinking it would only be for 2 days. She lost everything as well as many family members. Her main concern is getting her son, Ahmed, 4 into a kindergarten.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Angham. Angham took care of her two small children Omar, 6 and Ayla, 2 before the war and her husband was a house painter (just like my dad growing up). They found out today that their house is totally destroyed and also need to evacuate.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Hanan. Before this Hanan was a homemaker and her husband drove a taxi. Hanan asked me if I liked Bayern Munich- because they liked to watch soccer. They’re trying to keep their children Jihad, 16, Rima, 14, Abed, 11 and Sama, 8 alive.

Noor is trying to get the money to leave the North- she needs special transportation because of her husband’s injury (from the American aid site)
I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Noor. Noor was four months pregnant when this began- her home was bombed and she lost that baby and she barely survived. She had her second baby Jihad while living in a tent. Her husband’s legs were recently crushed while trying to get aid.
