Metroid Prime 4 is ok so far but they really hamstrung themselves with the overworld
it feels obvious it was pitched as something more robust, and gradually compromised down to a completely empty desert hub. I can't imagine they began development on the overworld with this final result in mind

I think with Knives Out, Rian Johnson set an extraordinarily high bar for himself that's incredibly hard to meet again, but I respect and enjoy watching him keep at it

today i saw a cop car use its sirens to bully another car in front of it into driving through an intersection on a red light, so that the cop car could make a right turn without waiting. switched the siren back off right after
