It also seems like people are surprised, and maybe a little offended, if I haven't seen a movie that was one of their favorites. The most recent example of this was a coworker was surprised I'd never seen "Rock a Doodle."

Like the ones that get released to your neighborhood Regal or AMC is just a tiny sliver of the movies the movies that come out in a given year. Even though I probably watch more movies than the average person, the number I haven't seen is staggering.
