What better excuse to reimagine a former drawing of mine (painted almost 7 years ago to the day!) than Taylor Swift singing about a similar painting?
A photomontage of three pictures. One is of the painter Millais' "Ophelia", a painting of a woman (a character from Shakespeare's "Hamlet") half submerged in water, holding a bouquet. The second picture is of a sketchbook illustration by Georgic made in 2018 of a woman half submerged in water, with petals flowing next to her. the last picture is of Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift from the Eras Tour when they were singing together. The "surprise song" piano is covered in flowers, the same you can see on the painting shown in the first three slides.

It's great disability and chronic illness representation (with LGBTQ+ characters) AND a great story!

It's been my comfort read for years now, when I feel like the world is too heavy it's always there for me to remind myself my sick life is worth living, cause theirs is a pleasure to read 🩹

I can't let #DisabilityPrideMonth end without recommending my favorite novel, "Sick Kids in Love" by @hannahmosk.bsky.social ! 🏥

It's the closest fictional account to what my experience w/ chronic illness is like I've ever read. Deals with ableism, doctors and relationships extraordinarily well! ⬇️
