Y'all should be on full alert and well aware of AI and how it's marketed in a misleading, harmful fashion. Not to mention it isn't even conventional AI. It's machine learning.

Absolutely. Because there's nobody with influence pushing back against this stuff, it gives large companies free reign to literally ignore our complaints and tell us how we, the consumer, are wrong. It's ass backwards, and influencer endorsement will only normalize this corporate behavior long term.

I see ads for shit like Google Gemini or Apple Intelligence and I see them build the entire software and hardware experience around this stupid machine learning algorithm and it worries me, because either this AI trend fizzles out, or it just keeps getting worse, and becomes unavoidable.

Yup. It's the only thing that'll automatically drive me away from buying or using something. I'm sick of seeing AI slapped on literally everything, and I 100% will go out of my way to ignore them, because better options exist.

It was gorgeous! We were in an open grass plains surrounded on all sides by a forest with a dirt road in and out for the bus, and you could see the Milky Way, since it was a later trip. I still think back to it from time to time, it was lots of fun.
