Adding a border/stroke to the shape of an image using Sharp and Node.
For a long time I thought this was only possible with imagemagick, but I see it's also possible with the Sharp lib.

I was a little hyped about #Nordcraft, but after trying it you quickly realize how vendor-locked you can quickly become. You don't own your code, everything is on their platform. Even exporting components to Web Components depends on calling a script on their side

I hope that 10 years from now many of the current web component APIs will be deprecated and something better will be the standard, more close to how we build applications with other frameworks. Making shadow DOM optional, and creating a first-class Web Components API. I imagine something like:

it's sad that in #CSS border-image doesn't support border radius, we could do very cool things like gradient borders or like this without the need of masks or pseudo elements
