I discontinued my subscription two years ago. It wasn't worth it just to post "I told you so" in the comments section each time he committed a transgression he said he would commit.

Vision zero has literally nothing at all to do with electrification in LA or any of the cities I'm aware of. Zero crossover. Vision zero is zero traffic deaths, not zero emissions. Vision zero does have transit improvements, bus lanes, and bike lanes.

Car people are sheep that have been guided by a battery of policy incentives. Saying that consumers aren't shaped by the incentives requires ignoring all of the massive pro car subsidies and policy incentives of the last 70 years.

The city isn't banning anything! That's a churlish strawman! All they had to do was reallocate massive car infrastructure subsidies more equitably. Not equitably, mind you, just less regressive.

Call me back when you've so much as read a single city budget. Doubling down on the policies that made the cities unwalkable and unaffordable is only going to make the cities more unwalkable, more unaffordable, worsen traffic, and increase car prices.

LA spends more on free roadside assistance for drivers than on street safety. The city council consists entirely of drivers, and repeatedly makes its priorities clear with its budget appropriations.

Car people have deluded themselves by only looking at the price of the vehicle. Over 90% of state and federal transportation subsidy has gone to highways and parking for 70 years. No constituency is as selfish, entitled, and unsustainable as the car brains.

It’s time to stop using Vision Zero as a slogan. Tell me how many intersections you’ll daylight per year; how many miles of new protected bike lanes; how many traffic calming devices installed; etc. Show me you care with your budget

Progress? LA has gone backwards.

Lead brained old white guys threw hissy fits to get traffic calming removed, and then one of them killed a beautiful young woman and her dog with his car. That entire political constituency should be charged with first degree murder.

I didn't receive any retraction notices, and technically they still possessed the data. I'm pretty sure they just hoped no one ever asked to review the datasets for the published work. The in progress stuff would have had to be restarted. Datasets never available for future studies.

IT immediately locked me out, but also inexplicably deleted all of my "user files", including the keychain for all of the encrypted patient files for all of the studies. 😬

Once upon a time, I was the custodian of 4TB(back when that was a lot) of medical imaging and reports for 7 years of studies. Then I was abruptly terminated because the PI didn't want to admit he had lost the grant that was funding my position.

Did they look in his carry-on? He's in first class on Turkish airlines.🙄

Was Turkey/Adams the inspiration for UAE/Trump? 🤔

Are we sure they're still doing makeup to make him look like an oompah loompah? It's not just jaundice?
