AI really is ruining a lot more than it's improving smh. I can't believe this is the world I'm living in.

yes yes, I've been reading the docs and going through the tutorial for a few days now. I'm just surprized you know, we react devs aren't used to that lmao. I'm liking svelte a lot, wish it had as much job opporunities as react does :(

tbh, in the terms of jsx specific features, react needs to up their game. Almost all of the recent features are rsc related. I know that the field is shifting back to server rendered html. But I still want new features with my jsx.

Oh, can you elaborate on that?
January 12, 2026 at 7:56 AM
yes i've seen others say that too. I've been reading the docs for less than 24 minutes, a lot of things will still change. There's a lot i don't know

oh this is perfect. A first use case i can think of, is a number type input, where the state data is an ordinary number, but inside the element itself a formatted number with commas, maybe currencies too

That's very true, I guess I was carried away by the simplicity lmao. handleInputChange also has validation for specific type of inputs that html validation isn't gonna cut it. Very true, ig you'll still need handlers for different form inputs.

of definitely, I did notice the lack of ecosystem comparing to react. I was looking for a magnifier package for svelte, and all i found was one abandoned 4 years ago.

I completely agree. What have you built with Svelte, and from your experience, how does it scale as the project becomes more complex?
