I think the terms normal AI and GenAI are still a problem and might not be the same for everyone.
I assume for you, GenAI is AI that makes "art". stories pictures videos....
but what is "normal" AI? and where is the line between them

the fine could be huge, but I know that is very unlikely.
the only good thing of a supposed arse-handing would be a big compensation for the fired person, so at least they don't have to worry too much while looking for a new job

I know Unions can be quite different in different countries, so maybe this is not that weird in your area. but if something like this can happen, what's even the point of a union?

I'm still hopeful someone is going to use AI for something interesting, something that would be pretty much impossible without.

when I read about this topic I often wonder why no one seems to "go after" the people that actually make the laws and take away trans rights, like judges and politicians
all that HP money would mean nothing if we remove the people that let themselves be influenced by it from their powerful positions

I am worried about safe long term storage of nuclear waste. and the search for a solution on that is quite stagnant

yes a lot of what's out there right now is AI slob trained on stolen art
but the right AI model for the right task can be a useful tool.

this doesn't look too bad as a screenshot. maybe the belts just look full because they are 100% efficient..... but its nuclear, so of course it's no good 😆
