It wasn't competitive DFLer Shelley Buck was the only person on the ballot. She received 97.55% of the vote the rest were write-ins. Buck is Native American and is the former head of the Prairie Island Indian community.

It's a Constitutional Amendment so a simple law passage would not on it's own override it. The thing Youngkin signed is more of a scheme to give VA Supreme Court something to rule against Virginia Constitution basically, if obergfell was ever overturned. This would permanently fix the problem.

Unless she does a complete 180 on a lot of stuff I would honestly vote for Warner over her lol. To me she would be a lateral move except younger than Warner.

His politics killed him in the end. He had prostate cancer; not good obviously but very treatable if caught early. Instead of seeking actual medical help he insisted on ivermectin and alt medicine woo woo. He started begging Trump for experimental treatments but by than it was too late.
