They do not have enough goons and they know it, so they're trying to overawe any resistance into giving up voluntarily. That's what all this is! They simply do not have the manpower to execute the sort of takeover they want.

Lab error, even unintentional due to a software bug, is orders of magnitude more common than an actual false match.

It’s unclear at this time if the Smart case was affected by the reported error or how it may impact Paul Flores’ murder conviction.
