The line I’m seeing UFC shills using to defend Volk vs Yair 2 is “A Mexican needs to fight for the belt in Mexico”. By their logic then Shev vs Jasmine should’ve headlined 315.

Such a shame to hear Mighty Mouse is as ignorant as the other 90% of MMA fighters. I had him down as one of the good guys.

Kind of a hot take, but HW is the worst weight class in the UFC above even W135. Even though W135 is less talented the fans know its flaws and the UFC treat it largely as card filler, whereas HW still gets the bells and whistles of a marquee division when it doesn't warrant it.

Hot take: Mokaev revealing the UFC told him to strike vs Kape was as big a reason for him being released as his style/being an ass. It exposed the UFC doing the same thing they vilified EliteXC for doing with Kimbo vs Seth.

It's kinda sad how Claudia Gadelha has been forgotten by the MMA fanbase. If it wasn't for her being around the same time as Joanna she could've been the long-reigning face of the weight class.
