i doubt that it's necessarily lando's camp which is pushing for it, rather just mclaren being idiots and incapable of managing two top class drivers (as the case in 07 & 98/99 ect) + lando being more integrated into the team. it's a similar press mark had in 12/13 and post f1 retirement. idk.
