Finally saw Anora tonight. I know there has been a lot of discourse/debate around the film as a whole. But what is undeniable is Mikey Madison's talent. This is the type of role that requires a Swiss Army knife set of skills to not just make you feel for her but to sell the film/story.

It’s really frustrating to me how conservatives have bastardized terms and concepts like “woke,” “doxxing,” “critical race theory,” “gender ideology,” etc, and then they get granted authority over what these words connote and denote. A lot of media launders their agenda and lacks truthful context

As I am planning on finally treating myself to seeing Wicked in the evening for my 30th birthday, I ushered in today by watching the Wizard of Oz on Stan and it's just as magical as it was when I was around 7/8 when I first watched it.
