Mighty Switch Force! 2 is an amazing sequel to the amazing original game. I love this game but adore the original’s soundtrack more so that takes the win. Thank you Wayforward for the Mighty Switch Force! Collection on modern platforms! (Finished on 1/19/26 with a score of 8/10)

Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition is an HD remake of the 3DS original and it’s just as good as it! More stages, redrawn graphics and the option to switch to sprites too. One of the best Wayforward games! (Finished on 1/18/26 with a score of 8/10)

Ghost in the Shell was a massive disappointment. I was so confused watching this anime movie and by the end, I felt like I didn’t get it at all. Anime movies are best when they are romance or sad stories it seems. (Watched on 1/18/26 with a score of 5/10)

City The Animation may look like Nichijou but it does enough to stand on its own. It is a gorgeous anime that is pretty funny about city life and the people surrounding it. Nichijou is better but City The Animation is a good watch. (Finished on 1/18/26 with a score of 8/10)

Mighty Switch Force! Kickstarted my Wayforward hyperfixation after loving Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse after trying it again on Nintendo Switch. I found a new love and appreciation for indie/indie style games after shunning them for years. (Finished on 1/17/26 with a score of 8/10)

Kirby’s Dream Land is the perfect video game that I will never be. It is my favorite Game Boy game of all time and deserves more love than it gets. (Finished on 1/15/26 with a score of a 10/10)

Look Back is a nice anime movie when my day was ruined today by my girlfriend blocking me. It was a good personal story that unfortunately reminds me of my traumatic years at college. (Watched on 1/15/26 with a score of a 7/10)

100 Meters is a pretty cool anime movie. I saw this on Netflix randomly and like the story about two boys who do track their entire lives. A pleasant surprise while eating 5 cheese frozen pizza. (Watched on 1/13/26 with a score of 7/10)

New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt was amazing! I love the original series and was incredibly happy with this new season. The English dub is funny af so definitely give that a shot when watching this anime. (Finished on 1/11/26 with a score of 9/10)

People We Meet on Vacation was confusing. I thought it was a romcom but it was a romdram movie instead. It wasn’t that enjoyable to watch and I think that the couple had a weak chemistry throughout the movie. (Watched on 1/10/26 with a score of 6/10)

The Cat in the Hat is so bad that it is good. Genuinely unbelievable how many sex jokes and innuendos are in this kids’ movie. It’s a bad movie and I wouldn’t recommend it to kids at all. This is for the parents who want to see something so grossly wrong. (Finished on 1/9/26 with a score of 4/10)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem disappointed me big time. I like TMNT a bit due to the video games and cartoon on Nickelodeon but this movie was not fun to watch. The animation is great but it is a dirty and dull portrayal of the Ninja Turtles. (Watched on 1/6/26 with a score of 5/10)

Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie was okay. I don’t think it’s the worst SpongeBob movie like Sponge on the Run was but it felt stupid and weird even for SpongeBob standards. Sandy Cheeks wasn’t that good as the lead which is unfortunate. (Watched on 1/4/26 with a score of 6/10)

Plankton: The Movie was a pleasant surprise for the SpongeBob series. I thought the movie was pretty entertaining and funny even if people despise modern SpongeBob. I can’t wait for the third character movie on Netflix! (Watched on 1/3/26 with a score of 7/10)

Resident Evil 1 opened my eyes to the survival horror genre in this 1996 PS1 classic. It feels like a Super Nintendo game but with PS1 power behind it and I love it! I want to replay the game as Chris since I played it as Jill. (Finished on 1/8/26 with a score of 8/10)

Rayman 2: The Great Escape is a good 3D platformer in the Rayman series and feels very whimsical! I haven’t played this game since I was a kid and it is cool how the series had a smooth transition to 3D. (Finished on 1/1/26 with a score of 7/10)
