Tropical dry forests (TDF) are often underrepresented on the international agenda. IUFRO Working Party 1.02.03 Ecology and Silviculture of Dry Tropical Forests organized a webinar on 12 June 2025 with the aim to prepare the ground for a global Tropical Dry Forests network to link regional and national networks and contribute to raising the voice of these neglected ecosystems in the international funding and decision-making arena. This first webinar of the Working Party (WP) was a two-hour event facilitated by Natasha Ribeiro and Sven Günter, Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator, respectively, of the WP. It attracted more than 60 participants and also aimed at reviving the Working Party.
