If this follows the Ukraine / general playbook, you’ll see masked ICE agents without insignia, mixed with MAGA civilians armed with batons and pepper spray, patrolling the streets to disperse crowds. Next, they get firearms while the police either look the other way or disappear entirely.

Trump is cementing his grip on power, and I don't believe the midterms or the next presidential elections will be fair. It’s going to get chaotic; authoritarian regimes always seek external enemies once they’ve finished dismantling the last of the checks and balances.

The blood pact has been signed. Trump / Vance confirmed there will be no consequences for ICE as long as they are loyal to the regime. ICE has been ready to commit violence since its inception. You won’t have fair elections anymore in the US

Instead of managing a post-war Russia, we should be focusing on how to effectively balkanize the federation.

Regardless of the motives, either these actions will be prosecuted or everyone will believe that the current administration is immune, and that’s a dead end.
