ANGIOPLASTY is a treatment for Peripheral Artery Disease. A balloon & stent are placed in a partially blocked artery. The balloon is inflated to expand the stent. The balloon is then deflated and removed, leaving the stent in place to hold the artery open. ivascularcenter.com
