Serious question: Does anyone know if ICE officers are required to take an oath when they join the ranks? If so, I would love to know to what/whom allegiance is sworn. Could be very telling.

Ditto. And I fly the flag outside my home every day. Some people really need to stop and reflect deeply upon the words of the flag salute, a pledge each of us has made our whole lives: “. . . with liberty and justice for all”

I agree. Journalism shouldn’t try to tell us how to think but rather to highlight what we should think ABOUT. By putting this so clearly in our faces, I am hopeful that at least a few people who might otherwise have missed it will be appropriately appalled.

I almost missed the endorser!! 👏🏻 👏🏻 That alone speaks volumes. I too am grateful to David for being a consistent and calming voice of reason, always helping me find my North Star when it is sometimes seemingly obscured by clouds.
