something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

The thing is that I think I would have fun playing comp splatoon. I think I would really enjoy it but I've never breached 2k xp in my life. I have almost 2k hours in this game. and not a single one spent in what people would probably call average xp. Very heartbreaking very disheartening 💔

the 'clubs' they mentioned are a thing that just does NOT exist anymore. I honestly think that's the biggest hole
like, clubs, or lj comms, or single-interest forums just do not exist. Today you toss fanart/discussion onto an open sea and pray other fans will see it and engage, and if not, too bad

(Ignore that theyre ugly) i made these ones yesterday ans they baked perfectly and my hubris was like "heh i still got it" and ATE THEM ALL and i had to scrap 2 batches at the batter stage and my 3rd batch that made it to the oven did THIS SHIT!!!!!!
