When bringing the v1.02 files of Morgott's intro cutscene to the current version of the game, everything appears as it should. However, when you enable Raytracing, suddenly the cutscene grinds to a halt at 2 FPS. I imagine this to be the real reason for the change; a bandaid fix for the poor RT.

I am quite curious about those little icons on the landmarks in the Nightreign map. One is the icon for the Fire weapon affinity, the other is the icon for the Death Blight status. What are they signifying? Are they about enemies you encounter, or rewards you receive?

Looking for ways that the Torch is utilized in ELDEN RING, I found a location behind Caria Manor that checks whether you have the Torch equipped, upon which it reveals a hidden enemy. The enemy has since been cut, but in the 1.0 version of the map, it's revealed to be a scarab with Chilling Mist.

Clear statements of non-canonicity are unlikely to penetrate tinfoil or stop somebody from drawing up an unhinged mind map.

Looks like the enemy type we've called Catacombs Sorcerer is named "Catacomb Conjurer" in the Future Press guide. Not sure why, given that it uses the same words for "Catacomb" and "Sorcerer" that are respectively used in "Catacombs Skeleton" and "Glintstone Sorcerer"...

ELDEN RING: This whole time, Glintstone Sorcerers had a fully finished Carian Slicer move, including followup attacks. It is deactivated by their AI, so it doesn't happen ingame, but enabling it is trivial in modding.
