One little thing I want to just add, these numbers are estimates and different studies have conflicting numbers. But even the most conservative estimates total to over 100,000,000 people.

Childhood trauma is more common than you think it is. A lot of people go through stuff in childhood that they genuinely don't remember as adults. That's dissociative amnesia.
And just because someone is happy doesn't mean they can't have a disorder.
