My husband has a special place in his heart for this film. When he was 4 he had jaundice, so insisted on watching it every day on repeat because he was yellow too. His mum only got a break when the video was rewinding. The joy he had when we eventually found a dvd was immense.

Started on shoe covers. Got patterns made, and fabric roughly cut. I want to get decorations on before I stitch them together. Not going for accuracy, just making sure they vaguely match the outfit.
I'm just using some old flats I had for a previous costume. #cosplay

Still feeling ill, but I managed to drag myself to work today, and got the collar done on my cosplay top. Not quite sure how my brain managed to pattern it, but I guess that's experience at play.
I'm going to start on the silver edge stitching tomorrow. But now,sleep.

I have been ill all week, but today I finally mustered enough energy to do the last of the appliqués on my top. I just have the collar and silver edge stitching to go. Going to be #bowee in camp clothes (before she was in her knickers 🤣) from #nobigneil #bg3 for #comicconscotland

Had an excellent weekend, got a new tattoo for a cat rescue fundraiser. By Monday morning I felt awful, and have spent the past 3 days with a fever and all sorts of fun symptoms on top.
My darling hubby gave me the germs. Sigh. He did bring me tea this morning though.
