And in the meantime, the poor, the POC, the LGBT+, living in those red states will suffer the absolute most from such a move, and literally no one in this country who holds any power to end Canadian tariffs will give a damn because these are the groups they want to eliminate anyway.

It will do nothing to convince Trump and his admin to do anything differently. It will only give them another talking point to use as proof that everyone hates them and they were right all along.
