A path covered in fallen beech leaves leads through an avenue of trees showing their autumn colours. Savernake Forest is full of ancient trees and was once a hunting ground of Henry VIII. He met his third wife, Jane Seymour, while staying with her father, the then owner of the forest.

Two hikers are on a path above the sea on the Northumberland Coast Path. They are approaching a rock face that descends into the sea. The rock is covered in white streaks where Kittywakes had nested earlier in the year. The Northumberland Coast Path covers 70 miles (112 km) from Cresswell to Berwick upon Tweed. It walked it in 6 days.

I last visited in Autumn 2024 when the leaves were turning golden. I visited this Spring to see the trees in leaf. Sychryd waterfall is in the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. There is a bridge over the waterfall. The water leaves the pool and falls towards another fall out of shot. I
