sadly it’s reached a “too big to fail” situation, the people who lent him money are gonna keep giving it to him, justice is sadly a fantasy

I can also dress up what I’m saying however I want but ultimately it comes down to this: for bluesky to succeed and go mainstream at least *some* of the people you hate and laugh at need to be here too

and I’m posting all of this on bluesky and not twitter because I think if we want a space to feel lived in and authentic we can’t just talk about what we like about it, there needs to be discourse about what we feel could be improved

maybe I’ll turn out to be wrong, I kinda like it and we’re seeing plenty of users switch to bluesky

by a “store” I mean Bluesky is attracting new users by coddling them a little, it’s “I can’t believe it’s not society!”, it’s sacrificing potential collective fun for individual user experience
