IWDA is a leading Australian organisation dedicated to advancing the rights of women, girls, and gender diverse people across Asia and the Pacific.
January 26 is not a neutral date. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, it marks invasion and ongoing colonial harm. We stand in solidarity, recognising this day as one of mourning, survival and remembrance, and honouring the strength and resistance of First Nations peoples.
