Edinburgh Haymarket is the best UK example. London is a bit different given how huge it is but it has Clapham Junction, Stratford and Old Oak Common when it opens.

There used to be a concept of the "south midlands" which seems to have disappeared in the 21st century

There is even an invite to share the page on X! Embarrassing.

It's already prohibited

Given you are liable to commit a serious crime in the UK just by opening the homepage I don't think even checking the news on there is wise

New appendix to specify the rating of padlock required on sofa beds to make them compliant?

We definitely need a plan about what to do with all the US military bases across Europe. They are now a threat to our security.

We can only hope that once the Mayor becomes PCC, the first act is to understand why there is a culture of TVP not caring about road violence or pavement parking.

Until that step is taken and addressed, we will never feel safe in our “cycling city”, let alone Oxfordshire.

London does have a healthy amount of 4 and 6 track lines. And even one 8 track.

Which raises the question, if you sat in the rear as the train arrives and stayed on the train when it reverses, at which point do you begin to breach the Conditions of Travel.

How do you settle takeout bills with friends, send money as a gift, pay for things on FB marketplace?

To send people money?

PAYG meters are evil but we have had instant free cash transfers between bank accounts for like 20 years

Those sort of not-PROW closures always seem to be on or about Christmas. I've always wondered if it's to avoid actually blocking it as nobody is about to check.

They used to float across the Atlantic in giant barrels before ships where invented. Or that's what it looks like anyway

Is there any other situation where you tell a victim of violence that it was their own fault, or is it just people riding bicycles? Motornormitivity in action.
December 20, 2025 at 9:51 PM
No, but blaming victims of violence for not wearing the right clothes doesn't help and perpetuates the cycle.
December 20, 2025 at 2:11 PM
You didn't need to add the victim blaming after the first part.
