why is mr. Hogges sending out emails lying about what the gov freeze is about? Wild time to do it since everyone already has discussed in detail that the dems want to make it so families don’t get their insurance premiums increased by a 1000% and repubs went on vacation.

I’ve been listening to #CloudwardHo and as disability studies disabled - I am blown away with the disability rep w npcs and pcs. would b so easy to make Van a supercrip esp in a fantasy setup but Siobhan plays such a fleshed out character which includes having a disability and it’s refreshing to see

If you use AI for your book cover art I won’t even glance inside cuz I bet some if not most of that book is also written by AI.

What’s more queer then being abandoned by your own parent for what you are, while also having them obsess over you? What’s more queer than being a man who gave birth? But no, we only ever talk about the gay man homoerotic subtext between Walton, Henry, and Victor.
Im thinking about the fact I have never seen readings on this Frankenstein with both a feminist and queer lens together. It’s always one or the other, but I think you can’t fully take out the horror of motherhood or parent abandonment.

Im thinking about the fact I have never seen readings on this Frankenstein with both a feminist and queer lens together. It’s always one or the other, but I think you can’t fully take out the horror of motherhood or parent abandonment.

Wow, I have read 9 books in two months 🥲 previous to that I usually averaged a book or two a year, I’m on book 10 now! I might try to make a goal for end of the year! Most books I have to depend on Libby and the Library so I believe there is a limiting factor

I feel like I need to write a 10 page paper on how disability and trauma is described in such a fantastical way with an unreliable narrator in Don’t Let the Forest in by CG Drews @paperfury.bsky.social this is another book that had me frothing at the mouth and I can’t stop thinking about it

Just finished Authority & I keep reading into themes of colonialism, systemic racism, and gov using brown bodies as scientific sacrifices & starting bk 3 I still see it & idk if @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social intended these themes cuz I feel like no one talks about them but I’m going feral bout it

reading Paradise Rot by Hval It’s good but i didnt read the summary fully because i thought it was going to be a slow build horror.
It’s not, it’s an interesting queer awakening story…but the writing is very similar to a lot of horror novels I’ve read, rn I’m still expecting sentient slime problems

I believe the idea of banning an app through the gov in abhorrent, and TikTok has decided to give up with making the app useable anymore since everything seems to be run by AI. Why are 💀threats not seen as against guidelines but my comments are? Can’t appeal either, just get shadowbanned 🙄
