That is exactly right. When Trump and Stephen Miller say that NYC will be a “third world country” does anyone think that they believe NYC (at city with a GDP of $1.2 trillion, that is one of the most important financial hubs of the world), will really be set back to “developing world” status?

Miller’s racism should have no place in 21st public policy nor the public square.

I just meant to say they were hypocrites who turned on a religious leader who disrupted their grip on the regional power they accrued through their religious influence. While they didn’t have political power in the way that Pilate did, but they the power to did turn the people against Jesus.

He needs to vacate the seat if he can’t handle it. As much as I am not a huge Hakeem Jeffries fan, he’d be a much better Speaker than Johnson, and I imagine he is available for the job.

Resistance will continue until every last law-breaker in the Party of Trump has been held accountable for their crimes.

What we really need to do is force those billion-dollar companies who are building the data centers to build more green-energy capacity, before building the data centers.

In the real universe, Trump has set up a corruption machine, in his crypto; and many other self-deals that have increased his wealth by billions of dollars.
In the Trump “alternative facts” universe Trump is as pious and self-sacrificing as Mother Theresa.

May this be but the first of many dominos to fall.

Also, admitting he is giving unlawful orders to the military is probably the biggest self-own of them all.

We need a privacy amendment to the Constitution. The amendment must guarantee digital privacy, medical privacy, and the privacy to conduct one’s life the way one sees fit (such as marriage equality, allowing medical procedures to be decided between a competent doctor and patient, etc).

There is absolutely nothing suspicious about a bunch of eugenicists wanting to gather medical records of the poor elderly and disabled people, and send that information to their own private army (and army that is currently disappearing people into concentration camps).

All of those people have gotten much wealthier though, and that was always their main goal.
