I think that‘s what most larger orgs will experience and why AI tools are maybe helpful but not a gamechanger in large companies.

Remind me to never let my company give you car insurance… or… well… it’s insurance, so only at an adequate rate.

There might be a third type: destructive peer review that wasn’t intended to be destructive.

I once found wood dust from sanding a room’s floor inside a fridge’s ventilation. Had a look there already?

My social psychology textbook was by far the most entertaining of all my undergrad reads… which made sense in hindsight, since most of it turned out to be fiction.

Nice. A stadium with a little bit of Wes Anderson vibes.

It‘s entertaining and better than most of the stuff that‘s streaming. Longer episodes would have been better, maybe two episodes fused to one. If you are going to be disappointed compared to the books is not easy to answer. Maybe it’s like Foundation? A more or less different product?

But overall: keyboard mapping in this Citrix scenario is fundamentally broken and Citrix is to blame.

Yes, Delete from Mac is mapped in functionality as „Backspace“ in this scenario and the Windows function „Delete“ is not available. I don’t think it’s to uncommon, there might be a lot of Mac users who have to work via Citrix on Windows in absolut numbers (but might be a fraction of a percent).

It‘s mostly the other stuff that you do with delete… when you work from a Mac in Citrix on a Windows Server, in most apps, you can’t delete items because you don’t have a delete key… files in explorer for example.

That’s absolutely correct. You need a common ground to understand business needs and technology.

I think it’s a problem of skills and communication. A marketing department without IT skills will buy saas without thinking about integration and an IT department unwilling to look at the business side will discount the needs of a marketing department. Road to unhappy employees and lost money.
