☀️ The next phase of the #ClimateActionLearningLab will center on building partnerships with researchers to explore the design & launch randomized evaluations and strengthening the community of practice we've built together.

🧑🏽‍🏫 Programming culminated at our July Summit, where leaders presented strategic evaluation plans on building energy benchmarking policies, increasing take-up rates of energy efficient home improvement programs, and scoring criteria for affordable housing development programs.

🧐 Over 3 months of programming, participants built skills and knowledge in evidence generation and use, reviewed and applied research insights to their own programmatic areas, and identified priority research questions to guide evidence-building and decision making practices.

3/4 Participants who received the pre-recorded phone call had higher Medicaid renewal by one percentage point, while Medicaid renewal rates were higher for certain groups including Tribal members, children, and people with chronic conditions.

2/4 In the study, all participants received written outreach about their renewal deadline📬, but some also received a text message 💬 or a text + a pre-recorded phone call 📞 offering navigator assistance through a hotline or a chat-bot to help participants renew their Medicaid.
