Republicans have the slogan "Make America Great Again." I need help coming up with a slogan that Democrats can use. A Democratic consultant came up with "Strong Floor, No Ceiling." I hate it. Help me come up with a list of better slogans. へ Show inking A good political slogan needs to be punchy, emotional, and immediately understood. The problem with "Strong Floor, No Ceiling" is that it is intellectual; it requires the voter to visualize a house and interpret a metaphor about economic policy. "Make America Great Again" works because it evokes nostalgia and a specific emotion. To compete, Democratic slogans generally focus on progress (the future), fairness (the economy), or unity (the people). Why "Strong Floor, No Ceiling" failed To help you narrow this down, it helps to identify exactly why the slogan you disliked didn't work. That slogan was a Policy Slogan. It described a platform. The best slogans are Identity Slogans (who we are) or Vision Slogans (where we are going).
